Ensure eSign happens ONLY at your company's branch

When it comes to paperwork, organizations always need to be on the lookout 🕵️‍♀️ against fraud and irregularities at the ground level.

For example, agents getting customers to sign “blank-forms” 📄 and filling them up later is very common.

To stop such scenarios 🛑, legal and compliance teams often have rules that document execution 📝 can only happen at the branch 🏢.

More eyes 👀, more witnesses 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️, less fraud.

But how do you do this in a digital document process 🖥️?

Presenting GeoFenced eSign 🌐🔒.
With GeoFenced eSign, you can set a permitted location 📍 and an acceptable range radius 📏 from that location.

Any electronic document execution that takes place within the range will be permitted ✅.

But if any electronic document execution is tried outside this range - Leegality will block it 🚫 before any signature is affixed ✍️.

How Leegality Geofencing Works

Enable Leegality Geofencing in Accounts. Go to Invitee Configuration under Department in Accounts and Toggle ON GPS Location Capture. Here you can set the default values for GPS's accuracy threshold and the default radius from a coordinate for eSign to be acceptable.

While sending document, on the Invitee screen - for all signers you want to enable Geofencing, click on Invitee level option and enable GPS Location Capture. Here you get two options -

  1. Set the accuracy threshold - if the inaccuracy in GPS location is higher than the set accuracy threshold, the eSign will be rejected
  2. Set the coordinates and eSign radius - the eSign will only be acceptable if it happens within the set range from a particular coordinate

Set either of them or both, as per your requirements.

The customers are asked to capture their GPS location after mandatory OTP-based verification - if the GPS location is within the set permissible area, the eSign is accepted otherwise it's rejected.
