About the Feature
Signers sometimes use the Aadhaar of their friends or family to eSign documents. This puts you at a huge fraud and enforcement risk - as your document is signed by a third party.
Earlier, when signers eSigned via NeSL, their details could be verified only after the signature was affixed on the document. This left documents vulnerable to potential misuse and/or fraud.
That’s why we’ve upgraded the Leegality Aadhaar eSign Verifier to include NeSL Certificate Validation - you can now verify the NeSL eSign Certificate, so any NeSL eSign attempted with a wrong Aadhaar will immediately be blocked.
Once a NeSL signer has been blocked due to mismatched details, eSigns for all other Leegality signers will be automatically paused - so the stamp will not be consumed, and you can recover the same by contacting NeSL.
