Let’s get started with this month’s updates:
Match the signer’s face with their KYC via Face Match
In remote eSign flows, verifying the signer’s identity can be challenging, and scammers often take advantage of this to do eSign fraud. They pretend to be the actual customer and eSign agreements to avail loans under the customer’s name.
To stop this, Leegality Face Match takes a photo of the person eSigning the agreement and matches it against another photo of the customer taken during KYC. The eSign gets blocked if the photo of the signer doesn’t match the photo in the records.
Ensure customer’s presence during eSign with User Liveliness
The second type of fraud that’s common is when a photo is being taken of the signer in the eSign flow, sometimes they put up a static photo or play a video in front of the camera to fool companies. More commonly, agents in a rush to finish paperwork do it so they can focus on sourcing more business - but it leads to compliance compliance and eSign fraud.
That’s where Leegality User Liveliness comes in.
It is an AI-based liveliness check that detects photo and video playbacks and only allows a real person to eSign.
Thanks for making it to the end :)
See you next month!
